Indie Bands with a Mission

IBWAM Featured in Street Sense!

DC publication Street Sense featured us as part of the cover story about our March 1 show for Sasha Bruce Youthwork at CD Cellar! Pick up a copy from a Street Sense vendor and read the article online!

Thank you to Street Sense, Sasha Bruce Youthwork, Oust, Will Wrigley, The Boundary Stones, Nicholas Karlin, districtbeat and everyone else who made it out to the March 1 show!

March 1, 2014: Oust, Will Wrigley and The Boundary Stones @ CD Cellar Arlington

With much help and thanks to natty-no for helping us book the space and Sasha Bruce Youthwork for helping us book bands, we’re proud to say that we’re (despite a bit late) booked our first show of 2014! It will also be our first Virginia and first folk show in a very long time.

Come join us at CD Cellar in Arlington, VA on March 1. Oust, Will Wrigley and The Boundary Stones will be performing!

It’s metro accessible from the Orange Line so all of you DC folks can make it out too! (pun intended)

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and music starts at 8:00 p.m.

How much is it? Whatever you would like to donate! The money goes to benefiting Sasha Bruce Youthwork, us and the bands.

Feel free to confirm that you’re coming too on our Facebook event page because, you know, we love your love, especially on Valentine’s Day.

We’ll photograph your love when you come to our show too. Vice-Chair Niab will be taking photos, co-founder clarissavillondo's now a photographer and we've asked Nicholas Karlin, a fantastic house photographer for 9:30 Club, to photograph too!

We’ll see you in two weeks! As always, send us your questions, concerns and/or love to indiebandswithamission@gmail.com or call us at (202) 642-9265!

We love you, even if you’re not indie (folk).
