We announced this show on Facebook awhile ago, but in case you haven’t liked us on Facebook yet (which you should go do now) :
INDIE BANDS WITH A MISSION PRESENTS LIGHTS RESOLVE, PLAYGROUND ETIQUETTE, AND BRACE YOURSELF!
All of us here at Indie Bands with a Mission are very excited to host a benefit show at Casa Fiesta in the Tenleytown neighborhood of Washington, DC. Brace Yourself from Northern Virginia will be joining us in their entirety to kick off this show at 9 p.m. Then, Playground Etiquette from Baltimore will take the stage. (Playground Etiquette got in a car accident while driving down to play the Big Bear Show earlier this March, so everyone should make sure to bring a couple more dollars to support them!) Finally, Lights Resolve, driving down all the way from NYC, will be ending the show. (Everyone should go buy some mercy from Lights Resolve, especially their new Feel You’re Different vinyl package. With gas being this expensive, it’s a miracle that they are willing to come down to do this show!)
Plus, co-founder Clarissa will be celebrating her birthday at the event and she might have some surprises for the show! Will she buy a round of drinks? Will she add a last minute band? Come to the show and find out!
*Ten percent (10%) of the proceeds from this show will be donated to the DC Central Kitchen. The rest of the proceeds will go to Indie Bands with a Mission, with which we will spend the money to put on more volunteering events and small benefit shows and to file for our 501(c)(3) status.
